Whiter than Snow - Poem

Failure seems so final
We can’t get up
Sitting on a road
The stones are jagged and rough
Pain clutches our soul
With the sting of death
We can only weep and fret

But all is not over
Christ is our hope
He paid for our Fall
Once and for all
Washed in His blood
Not just hyssop soap
Though we may be stained
With ugly sin
In Christ taking our sin
We can a new song sing
The worst sin
On the face of the earth
Is not too depraved
For Him to forgive
Though it is hard for us
To believe

Forgiven, we stand before Him
Whiter than snow
We have access
To His Heavenly throne
With faces aglow
We just need to abide in Him
And our vices will grow dim

We can rise to a new day
Our past bad records are closed
We are over comers in Christ
He defeated Death's sting
So as conquerors we can win
When we turn to Him
And gone is the stain of ugly sin
So let us each day, a new day begin!

Come let us reason together, though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be whiter than snow. Isaiah 1:18
