It was a cold
windy night
The Lord went
away to pray
While twelve
men on the boat
Struggled with
all their might
Rowing hard
They saw thick
darkness
And then a glow
of light
Shivering in
fear
The glow came
closer
They held hands
tight
Then a voice
came
Over the waters
and said
"It is I
the Lord
Do not fear,
Come on ahead !"
They gazed at
Him
Amazed at the
Lord
Who had such
might
Yet while on
Earth
Even He did
pray all night!
How much more
Do we need to
pray at all times
The more we
pray
Our problems start
to dim
Our soul
becomes sublime
Our prayers
rise
Like sweet
incense
And our prayers
protect us
Like a strong
bronze fence
Not a prayer is
unheard
Each prayer has
an answer
Some swift,
some take long
But even in the
waiting
We become tough
and strong
God will hear
you each day
Just keep on
praying
Your prayer
Will move mountains
Will move mountains
Uproot valleys
Still storms
And turn the
world
Right side up
Keep on praying
And victory is yours
As you
pray each day!And a wonderful answer
Is on its way!
