That
walks in with a chilly icy blast
Cold
sadness hangs in the air
That
seems to forever last,
Towering trees wave angry arms
In the
windy winter storm
And the
night seems so long
Without a
trace of dawn
Yet that winter has to pass
Nothing
of sad winter is meant to last
The dawn
will rise
And bring
golden light
Things will
get better
And our
world will become warm
And as
the days go by
Our
hearts will be strong
Now, the turtledoves
Will sing
a new song,
The cold winter had gone
Yet in
every season
God has
appointed it
For a
perfect reason
And as we
abide
Under the
shelter of His wings,
Our problems will fade
And
appear so dim.
When one sad season is over
Then the
best is yet to come
Bringing
showers of blessing
With us
to stay each day
The
joyous spring days
Will
always come
We just
stand firm
And the
battle is won!
And in
the new spring
We will
sing a new song!
Song
of Solomon 2:11-12
For
behold, the winter is past. The rain is over and gone. The flowers
have already appeared in the land; the time has arrived for pruning the vines,
And the voice of the turtledove has been heard in our land.
