Angels Took Care of a Three-Year-Old in a Near Death Experience - Testimony

When I got off the plane a solemn-faced young man came toward me and said, "Mr. Glenn, there is an emergency at your home. I do not know what the emergency is, or who is involved, but I will take you to the phone so you can call the hospital."  My heart was now pounding, but the will to be calm took over.  Woodenly, I followed this stranger to the distant telephone where I called the number he gave me for the Mission Hospital.

My call was put through to the trauma center where I learned that my three-year-old son had been trapped underneath the automatic garage door for several minutes, and that when my wife had found him he was dead.

CPR had been performed by a neighbor, who is a doctor, and the paramedics had continued the treatment as Brian was transported to the hospital. By the time of my call, Brian was revived and they believed he would live, but they did not know how much damage had been done to his brain, nor to his heart. They explained that the door had completely closed on his little sternum right over his heart. He had been severely crushed. After speaking with the medical staff, my wife sounded worried but not hysterical, and I took comfort in her calmness.

The return flight seemed to last forever, but finally I arrived at the hospital six hours after the garage door had come down. When I walked into the intensive care unit, nothing could have prepared me to see my little son laying so still on a great big bed with tubes and monitors everywhere.

He was on a respirator. I glanced at my wife who stood and tried to give me a reassuring smile. It all seemed like a terrible dream.

I was filled-in with the details and given a guarded prognosis.  Brian was going to live, and the preliminary tests indicated that his heart was OK, two miracles in and of themselves. But only time would tell if his brain received any damage.

Throughout the seemingly endless hours, my wife was calm. She felt that Brian would eventually be all right. I hung on to her words and faith like a lifeline.

All that night and the next day Brian remained unconscious. It seemed like forever since I had left for my business trip the day before. Finally at two o'clock that afternoon, our son regained consciousness and sat up uttering the most beautiful words I have ever heard spoken. He said, "Daddy hold me" and he reached for me with his little arms.

By the next day he was pronounced as having no neurological or physical deficits, and the story of his miraculous survival spread throughout the hospital. You can imagine how relieved we felt as we brought Brian home.  We also felt a unique reverence for the life and love of our Heavenly Father that comes to those who brush death so closely.

In the days that followed there was a special spirit about our home.  Our two older children were much closer to their little brother.

My wife and I were much closer to each other, and all of us were very close as a whole family. Life took on a less stressful pace. Perspective seemed to be more focused, and balance much easier to gain and maintain. We felt deeply blessed. Our gratitude was truly profound.

Almost a month later to the day of the accident, Brian awoke from his afternoon nap and said, "Sit down Mommy. I have something to tell you." At this time in his life, Brian usually spoke in small phrases, so to say a large sentence surprised my wife. She sat down with him on his bed, and he began his sacred and remarkable story.

Do you remember when I got stuck under the garage door? Well, it was so heavy and it hurt really bad. I called to you, but you couldn't hear me. I started to cry, but then it hurt too bad. And then the 'birdies' came."

"The birdies?" my wife asked puzzled.
"Yes," he replied. "The birdies made a whooshing sound and flew into the garage. They took care of me."

"They did?"

"Yes," he said. "One of the birdies came and got you. She came to tell you "I got stuck under the door." A sweet reverent feeling filled the room. The spirit was so strong and yet lighter than air.

My wife realized that a 3 year old had no concept of death and spirits, so he was referring to the beings who came to him from beyond as "birdies" because they were up in the air like birds that fly. "What did the birdies look like?" she asked.

Brian answered, "They were so beautiful. They were dressed in white, all white. Some of them had green and white. But some of them had on just white."

"Did they say anything?"

"Yes," he answered. "They told me the baby would be all right." "The baby?" my wife asked confused.

Brian answered. "The baby laying on the garage floor." He went on, "You came out and opened the garage door and ran to the baby. You told the baby to stay and not leave."

My wife nearly collapsed upon hearing this, for she had indeed gone and knelt beside Brian's body and seeing his crushed chest whispered, "Don't leave us Brian, please stay if you can."

As she listened to Brian telling her the words she had spoken, she realized that the spirit had left his body and was looking down from above on this little lifeless form. "Then what happened?" she asked.

"We went on a trip," he said, "far, far away." He grew agitated trying to say the things he didn't seem to have the words for. My wife tried to calm and comfort him, and let him know it would be okay. He struggled with wanting to tell something that obviously was very important to him, but finding the words was difficult.

"We flew so fast up in the air. They're so pretty Mommy," he added. "And there are lots and lots of birdies." My wife was stunned. Into her mind the sweet comforting spirit enveloped her more soundly, but with an urgency she had never before known.

Brian went on to tell her that the "birdies" had told him that he had to come back and tell everyone about the "birdies." He said they brought him back to the house and that a big fire truck, and an ambulance were there. A man was bringing the baby out on a white bed and he tried to tell the man that the baby would be okay,

The story went on for an hour. He taught us that "birdies" were always with us, but we don't see them because we look with our eyes and we don't hear them because we listen with our ears.

But they are always there, you can only see them in here (he put his hand over his heart). They whisper the things to help us to do what is right because they love us so much.

Brian continued, stating, "I have a plan, Mommy. You have a plan. Daddy has a plan. Everyone has a plan. We must all live our plan and keep our promises. The birdies help us to do that cause they love us so much."

In the weeks that followed, he often came to us and told all, or part of it, again and again. Always the story remained the same. The details were never changed or out of order.

A few times he added further bits of information and clarified the message he had already delivered. It never ceased to amaze us how he could tell such detail and speak beyond his ability when he talked about his birdies.

Everywhere he went, he told strangers about the "birdies." Surprisingly, no one ever looked at him strangely when he did this. Rather, they always got a softened look on their face and smiled. Needles to say, we have not been the same ever since that day, and I pray we never will be.

Luke 4:10  (kjv)  For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:

Repentance - Guest Post

Dr. Annamma Abraham and (late) Dr. Abraham were veteran doctors in Malaysia (originally from Kerela, India) and also serving the Lord in many capacities.  Those early years were very busy with their working schedule and taking care of their very energetic and lively three sons.  In that very busy schedule of work along with parenthood, they grew stronger in their faith and walk with God.  Today, as Dr. Annamma Abraham delves into the Word in deep study, she shares jewels of wisdom from the Word!

Dr. Annama Abraham

Repentance  Means – Feels sorrow or regret           for what one has done or left undone, a heart broken over sin and from sin.

When we repent, we not only admit our wrongs, but we willingly turn from them and open ourselves to God’s transforming power. Repentance is necessary to enter into relationship with Christ. Daily repentance is necessary to stay in close fellowship with Him and to grow spiritually. It leads to the fountain of God’s forgiveness and his life changing power. If you are truly sorry for your sins, you will want to give them up.
Luke 5: 32 Jesus said “I have not come to call the righteous but the sinners to repentance.

God put his warnings on the heart and soul of every person
Failure to correct problem will result in spiritual death. Through the prophet Ezekiel God said that the hearts of His people had become adulterous and hard as rock.
Ezekiel 6:9 Then those of you who escape will remember Me among the nations to which they will be carried captive, how I have been hurt by their adulterous hearts which turned away from Me, and by their eyes, which played the harlot after their idols; and they will loathe themselves in their own sin for the evils which they have committed, for their abominations.
Ezekiel 11: 19 And I shall give them one heart and shall put a new spirit within them, and I shall take the heart of stone out their flesh and give them a heart of flesh.
The Lord longed for their hearts to be softened, and for them to come back to Him. He made this impassioned plea: “Repent and turn away from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin. Get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die? O house of Israel.”
Ezekiel 18: 32 “I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies” says the Lord God. “Therefore turn and live.”
Today, by turning from sin to God through faith in Jesus Christ, anyone can have a new heart. The power of God can turn a heart from evil and the power of sin. The love of God can change a life and make it new and cleansed within.
In his presence there is hope, love, lasting protection, and fullness of joy. Away from Him there is temporary pleasure, but eternal loss and despair.
                                    Repentance is described as
Turned Acts 9:35 And who lived at Lydda and Sharon saw him and they turned to the Lord.
Repent Acts 8: 22 Therefore Repent of this wickedness of yours; and pray the Lord that if possible the intention of your heart may be forgiven you.
Return 1Samuel 7: 3 Then Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying, “If you return to the Lord with all your heart, remove the foreign gods and the, Ashtaroth from among you and direct your hearts to the Lord and serve Him alone; and He will deliver you from the hand of the philistines”.
Conversion Acts 5: 3 Therefore being sent on their way by the church, they were passing through both Phoenicia and Samaria, describing in detail the conversion of the Gentiles, and were bringing great joy to all the brethren.
                                    Repentance is derived from
God Acts 11:18 and when they heard this, they quieted down, and glorified God, saying, “Well then, God has granted to the Gentiles also the repentance that leads to life.
Christ Acts 5: 31 He is the one whom God exalted to His right hand and as a prince and a saviour, to grant repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
Holy Spirit Zechariah 12: 10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him, like the bitter weeping over a first born.

Repentance leads to God’s long suffering
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow, about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
God’s goodness
Romans 2: 4 Or, do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance.
Conviction of sin
Acts 2: 37-38
37. Now when they heard this, they were pierced to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles “Brethren what shall we do?”
38. And Peter said to them, “Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Productive of life
Acts 11: 18
And when they heard this, they quieted down, and glorified God, saying, “Well then, God has granted to the Gentiles also the repentance that leads to life.
Remission of sins
Mark 1:4
John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
 New Spirit and New heart
Ezekiel 18:31
Cast away from you all your transgressions which you have committed, and make yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! For why will you die O house of Israel?
Joy
Luke 15: 7 and 10
7. I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
10. In the same way, I tell you there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
Reformation of life
Matthew 3:8
Therefore bring forth fruit in keeping with repentance.
Restitution
Luke 19: 8
And Zaccheus stopped and said to the Lord “Behold, Lord, half of my possessions I will give to the poor, and if I have defrauded any one of anything, I will give back four times as much.
Godly sorrow
2 Corinthians 7:9-10
9. I now rejoice, not that you were made sorrowful to the point of repentance; for you were made sorrowful according to the will of God, in order that you might not suffer loss in anything through us.
10. For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces repentance without regret, leading to salvation; but the sorrow of the world produces death.
In New Testament repentance always involves a change for the better as a person turns away from sin while turning toward God. Jesus began his public ministry with the call, “Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17)
When we feel sorry for doing wrong or for getting caught, it may be nothing more than a spiritual cosmetic. But true repentance occurs deep in our hearts and results in a visible difference in our actions. When we turn to Christ and yield ourselves to Him, he produces real change - not just a cover up. Don’t hide your sin and cover up, pretending there is nothing wrong. Instead, confess it and repent, and God will fill your heart with song. Repentance is not just words but actions. The way back to God begins with a broken heart.
Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
People differ in the way they express their emotions. But literal tears are not the issue. What is important is the attitude of the heart. The real issue is how deeply we sense the implications of our sins. Are we filled with Godly sorrow? Do we feel some of the same sorrow God feels about evil? Are we willing to turn from it? Indifference to evil is a great evil.
People who listened to John the Baptist had made some preparations for the start of Jesus’ public ministry.
Isaiah 40: 3-5
3. A voice is calling, clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness; make smooth in the desert a high way for our God.
4.  Let every valley be filled up, and let the rough ground become a plain, and the rugged terrain a broad valley.
5. Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all the flesh will see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.
Malachi 3:1
“Behold I am going to send My Messenger, and he will clear the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to his temple; and the messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight, behold, He is coming”. Says the Lord of hosts.
John’s mission was to prepare a way for the Messiah by preaching a message of repentance.
Luke 3: 3
And He came into all the district around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.
In preparation for the Messiah’s coming the people were to cleanse their hearts by seeking God’s forgiveness for their sins. As we get ready to celebrate the coming of Jesus to the earth, we too should heed John’s message of repentance.
Mathew 3: 2 “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
What is more important is we need to confess our sins, turn from it and renew our fellowship with the Lord. Once we turn away from sin, there should be no turning back.
Scripture calls this godly sorrow that leads to repentance.     God has sent the reluctant prophet Jonah to preach to Nineveh. At that time the people repented, and the city was spared. A later generation returned to their forefathers wicked ways. Assyria then attacked Israel, and God determined to punish her. Assyria repented of their repentance.
Nahum 1:3
The lord is slow to anger and great in power,
And the Lord will by no means leave the guilty unpunished.
In whirlwind and storm is His way,
And clouds are the dust beneath His feet.
It is not unusual for us to think we can get away with doing something wrong.
After King David committed adultery with Bathsheba, he too was focused on getting away with it. But his sin was pointed out by Nathan. His adultery, when Nathan exposed, the king was deeply remorseful. He confessed, repented and received God’s forgiveness. But the consequences of his sin never departed from his household
If you have been trying to get away with something, remember that your sin will find you out.
Numbers 32: 23
But if you will not do so, behold, you have sinned against the Lord, and be sure your sin will find you out.
2 Corinthians 7: 10
For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death.
When we sin, the Lord isn’t interested in just a quick apology. He looks for a different attitude and a change of behavior. Scripture calls this godly sorrow that leads to repentance.
Paul saw this sorrow in Corinthian believers which resulted from their response to an earlier letter of rebuke he had written. At first it bothered him that he had made them sorrowful, but when their sorrow led to a genuine change of heart the apostle rejoiced.
2 Corinthians 7: 8-11
8. For though I caused you sorrow by my letter, I do not regret it; though I did regret it – for I see that, that letter caused you sorrow, though only for a while.
9. I now rejoice, not that you were made sorrowful, but that you were made sorrowful to the point of repentance; for you were made sorrowful according to the will of God, in order that you might not suffer loss in anything through us.
10. For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces repentance without regret, leading to salvation; but the sorrow of the world produces death.
11. For behold what earnestness this very thing, this godly sorrow has produced in you; what vindication of yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what longing, what zeal, what avenging of wrong! In everything you demonstrated yourselves to be innocent in the matter.
Apostle Paul said that we are not to have fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.  But he went on to say that these sins are shameful even to speak out.
Ephesians 5: 11-12
11. And do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them.
12. for it is disgraceful even to speak of things which are done by them in secret.
So how to expose sin? We must focus on Jesus Christ, the
 light of the world.
John 8:12
Again therefore Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world; he who follows Me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life.
Ask Jesus to enable us to shine as lights in the world
Philippians 2: 15
That you may prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world.
It is Christ’s pure light that the darkness of sin will be exposed and the stage will be set for the repentance that brings deliverance.
Let us pray to the Lord, to keep us from entanglements that choke our spirit’s work within. Then we can reflect His light into a world that is dark with sin.

Mother - Poem

An ode to all mothers whose labor of love is often unnoticed!

Dear Mother
A miracle was conceived to you in a moment of time
A child to you born, precious, a little star to shine!
A task, so grand and noble appointed just for you
To bring up a child with fresh wisdom anew

The burst of a golden dawn covered your heart
The joy of a mighty mission that would never depart
Though moments of fear may have crept deep inside
Would there be dark secrets you would have to hide?

Long weary nights you lovingly cared when your baby cried
Cleaning, cooking, washing, and soiled clothes dried
Training, teaching, and trusting God each day
Praying He would keep your child in a safe good way

There were happy years when your child brought smiles of joy
Wondrous family times with binding moments to enjoy
You laughed, you loved, you gave, and you cared
There were dreams so high you thought and dared

Years rolled ahead, some days may have been tough
The trembling fears were there, and the rocky roads rough
You learned to pray like a warrior of the kingdom of light
You learned to yield to God and never gave up the fight

As you learn to release your child to the Lord
In Him, you experience your sweetest reward
For in surrendering your child to His tender care
There was nothing to fear because He is always there!

Dear Mothers, We thank God for your lives
You never give up in the steamy storms or in strife
Your quest for your child has wondrous stories untold
Perhaps for many, only in Heaven will unfold

Your love goes beyond, trusts, perseveres, and never ends
Bearing, enduring, restoring, and always ready to mend
Kindness and calmness in you are abundantly stored

Your love, unconditional, reveals the heart of God!

Proverbs 31:28:  Her children arise up, and call her blessed, her husband also, and he praises her.

The Grace of Salvation - Testimony

The Grace of Salvation

By Mohd. Saleem

I am no more than an ordinary man who has been spending life as if knowing nothing. I was born in a wealthy Muslim family in Pakistan, but when I was a few months old, I was carried to Saudi Arabia by my father. When I was about six, my mom passed away. As I grew older I had so many questions like almost everyone experiences at some point in life. Why am I here? Where did I come from? Is there really a God and if so where is He? Why doesn't He talk?

I have been studying the Quran since I was around 12. Later I also started reading other kinds of Islamic books like the Life of Prophet Mohammad, Hadiths, etc. I have been Wahabi or Ahlae Hadiths like most of the Saudi Muslims are. (Osama Bin Laden is also one of them.) They are very extreme and I have been one also.

I had been taught that Islam is the only way to Heaven. I was told, "If you do this, you'll get so and so blessings in Heaven," and "if you do that, you'll get so and so blessings in Heaven." I became an extremist for the religion Islam.

Well, I believed what I was doing was right, and if it is right, then there is no risk in digging. I had read about the prophets in the Quran and Hadiths, but Jesus Christ was the only personality that really touched me more than any others. I found out that Christians believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I very much wondered why they believe that. I started searching for Jesus Christ more and more. I had a Christian friend who used to study with me. I asked him one day if I could have his Bible. He was surprised and said "Sorry, you cannot have it." I assured him no one would ever know, "It will remain between me and you." But my father came to know that I read the Bible and that it was in our home. He was very angry and he knew I have only one Christian friend. So he took me with my uncle to this friend's home and warned them saying, "If you do this again and try to preach Christianity to a Muslim child, you'll have to suffer a lot and you know it. We will complain about it to Islamic Police (Mutawa) and you could be exiled from this country forever." I was a bit worried. I shouldn't have done this to my friend's family.

My father warned me, and so did my uncle, to pray five times a day as I used to pray, and one time in the mosque. I kept going, and many times when there was no one in the mosque I used to cry and ask God to show me, "who is this Jesus and who are you?" Often while the Imam (leader) of the prayer was praying in Arabic (as it's compulsory to pray in Arabic only), I did not give much attention to what he was saying. One day I was praying in the Mosque, during Zuhar's prayer (noon prayer). I wasn't thinking of Jesus Christ that time. I saw an image of a handsome person on the floor where we bow our heads in prayer. I was shocked. I never saw such a thing before. It was kind of an image on water. I heard in myself that this is Jesus Christ. This is the Lord!

My hunger to know about Jesus Christ grew more and more.

I did not have a Bible with me anymore. One day I was passing with a friend through shops and I came to an internet shop. I was on the Net on yahoo.com and there came a thought in my mind: type "Who Is Jesus?" I did, and got lots of web sites. I was amazed that I could search about Jesus Christ there.

A web site provided very nice information about who Jesus is, and prophecies about Him in the Old Testament, and how amazingly they are fulfilled in the New Testament.

I was very much amazed. I kept coming to this web site often. One day I thought of giving Jesus a try and so I said the salvation prayer on their web site.

I also had been seeing that same image of Jesus Christ often when I used to go in the Mosque to pray. One day I was walking toward a market using a short cut. It's a bit lonely area. Not many people cross through there. I was walking and had been thinking and asking God if what I was doing was right and should I be Christian or Muslim? I heard a voice behind me saying "My son, you are on the right path." I was again amazed. I had never had experienced these kinds of things.

But in all I had been going through, I became happier when I came to know the Holy Bible, which says many things. For example it says,
"Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, 'This is the way; walk in it.'"1

And it says,
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."2

God has been faithful to me!

Where would I be if I did not search my Bible and ask God's guidance for my life? The God of the Bible replies like no other! That is reality!

In the Quran it says that some revelations are abolished or forgotten.

What does that mean? In fact it's exactly the opposite in the Bible.

In the Torah, Numbers 23:19,
"God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind."

And in Zabur (Psalms) 31:5,
"Into your hands I commit my spirit; redeem me, O LORD, the God of truth."

And in Injeel (the Gospel of John) 17:17,
"Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth."

Never did I find a single verse in the Bible saying that God lies or that He changes His verses and leads people astray.

In the Quran we are told to believe in all prophets and all the revealed Books of God which includes the Torah, Zabur, Injeel and even Daniel. If we do not believe in them, that they are the words of God, we are not Muslims. Many measures and efforts have been taken to destroy the Bible from this earth but they have never been successful. That proves that God who revealed knows very well how to keep it protected. I challenge all who say that the Bible has changed to prove it to me with evidence. Hundreds of scientist have studied it and have confirmed its clarity and what has been written.

The prophecies made in the Bible are being fulfilled in our very day. These are some of the most amazing things and confirm who is the author of this book. The very creator of this world knows what is going to happen tomorrow and the coming days. He does not predict it like a psychic but knows it!

It's also amazing to understand the differences between Jesus and Mohammad. In the Bible it says:
"In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God!"4

Why is Jesus Christ called the Glad Tidings, the Word of God, held nearest to Allah, but nothing is mentioned about Mohammad as such?

Also, why was Jesus Christ faultless and without sin, whereas many times in the Quran, Mohammad is reminded to repent of his sins. Every Muslim who reads the Quran with understanding knows it very well.

The Bible also says Jesus Christ did miracles and did many other things which no one except God can do...things like giving life to death, and healing the sick.

Why did Mohammad never do that? Despite many people of his time asking for miracles he refused. But one miracle is recorded in the Quran that he parted the moon in two. What benefit did it bring to humanity?

Before Jesus Christ was born, angels were sent to announce the noble birth of a faultless son through a virgin. But Mohammad being the greatest of Prophets in Islam does not have that much privilege? Why is nothing similar said for Mohammad?

If God really was able to make a virgin give birth, then why would it be difficult for Him to call Him His Son?

The Quran tells that there will be a revelation for mankind and mercy.5 Muslims will have to read the Injeel (Gospel) to find out about God's mercy for mankind.

In the Injeel (Gospel), Mark 10:46-47, one blind man cries out to the Lord Jesus Christ saying:
A blind man, Bartimaeus, was sitting by the roadside begging. When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!"

Also in the New Testament:
"Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life."6

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead."7

The Lord Jesus Christ is not the mercy that was meant for people of His time or of His area only. God made Him Mercy for ALL MANKIND EVEN AFTER MOHAMMAD.

We know from the Bible that we are sinners and away from the Lord. Jesus Christ is the only provision for us to reconcile us with the Lord, because He was sinless and became sin for our sake. Our sins were transferred to Him.

Jesus Christ bore our sins and became sin for us. In Injeel (Gospel), it says:
"She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."8

To many other people, He said "your sins are forgiven" indicating He wants them to be saved from sins! He bore their sins!

Also from the New Testament:
"God made Him (Jesus) who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God."9

Many people have found God's mercy in the Lord Christ and have been changed. One of them is me. Many look for the miracles, authority, Truth and only truth in the wrong places, and I also have been doing so, until I met Him, the only One who not only knows the way to God but Himself is The Way. In Jesus' very words:

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know Him and have seen Him."10

Mohammad and Muslims have been praying every day many times in their much-devoted prayers for guidance, and amazingly the last and greatest of Islam's Prophet kept praying for it till his death.11

Was Mohammad on the straight path? Is Islam the straight path? I encourage all Muslims to ask him or herself is it really true what they are doing to get to heaven?

I do not believe heaven is a place with a price tag on it, which can be bought by our deeds, but only through God's Mercy and grace. I pray God will give hunger in each of us more each day and we will turn to Him for our Spiritual food and our salvation! It is made so simple like never before. Come to Him with a humble heart. Seek His Face and find yourself in His arms!

We become a new creation in Christ. It was written long ago, but today it is still true! How our minds and our thoughts change because the One who created us knows how to fill that missing gap and to reinstall our spiritual life in the Lord Jesus Christ who is the only Way to Him!

So Brothers and sisters, open your hearts and minds to accept His amazing Love. Allow the Lord Jesus Christ into your life and see what happens next. The greatest adventure in the Universe begins. Whenever I have been in trouble He has been there and comforted me like no one ever could. He has shown me that He's alive forever and He loves us very much.

I praise and thank God for sending His Son the Lord Jesus Christ to die for me and for all of us, and making the marvelous and glorious bridge to reach Him!

A Powerful Vision of Heaven After a Car Accident - Testimony

On December 26, 1989, I was travelling along East Road in Lakeside, Michigan, when a snow plough pulled out into my lane. I was going between 45-50 miles per hour and when we collided my 1985 Ford LTD was totalled. I was rushed to the Memorial Hospital in St. Joseph, Michigan, where the emergency room personnel struggled to save my life.

As I lay there, a product of a terrible home life and an atheist at heart, something like an out-of-body experience occurred. I appeared to be in a dark place that was endless with no floor, walls or boundaries. I felt a very evil, cold, and scary presence far behind me. Whatever it was, I knew I didn't want anything to do with it. It was pulling me towards it. I was completely terrified and I ran in terror.

I saw a great light in this world of darkness. I moved towards this light and a figure appeared at a distance. I froze in fear. I crouched and started to tremble. When I looked up, a tall man about 6'3" or 6'4" with a white robe and a gold sash was standing in front of me. He was of the greatest power I had ever imagined and more. I couldn't see his face because his eyes were the brightest light I had ever seen, ten times the sun's intensity.

I asked if there was a heaven. The man, who I now recognized as Jesus, could have just said "yes" and because of his power and glory I would have believed Him, but instead He transported me to heaven. I appeared in an open field and expected to feel the wind sweep all around me. But there was no wind, just gospel music. I never liked gospel music before but at that moment it was by far the most beautiful music I had ever imagined.

I looked around and it was like daytime but there was no sun. I thought that was strange and Jesus appeared again. He said, "Come see the light." He led me through Heaven. He knew my every thought. We walked side by side. Jesus was talking and I looked at Him from a side view and His eyes were like red flames. He said, "Do not be frightened. I am in spiritual form as you are."

I looked at my body and there was no fat and my feet and legs were dangling as we moved. I was floating off the ground. I looked up and we were passing through a lot of gigantic mansions that were so beautiful that it seemed like everything on earth I had ever seen was black and white. Everyone working on the mansion were in a big hurry like they were expecting a lot of people very soon. As we walked past the mansions, one of the workers stopped and waved to me and the overwhelming sense I got was that this place is home.

We walked on and Jesus said, "There is the light you wanted to know about." I looked and the image I saw was more than any words can describe. I saw a castle with light coming from it 1,000 times the intensity of the sun. This light was more than words can describe. Even though it was so bright, it didn't hurt my eyes. It was warm and brought to mind every good feeling I ever had plus other feelings beyond imagination. It was everlasting and I knew I would never forget it or grow accustomed to it if I lived there.

I also knew that through this light I would never be tired or sick. We entered the castle. Everything inside was perfect. I saw many statues and paintings. It got brighter and brighter as we moved through the castle. It was the same light from before. As we came upon a doorway, the light became more intense. I didn't look into it. I tried to see what was in the room. I saw some chairs and steps leading up to the throne of God. I looked up into His light and in an instant was transported back to the same place where Jesus first met me. He was there and He said, "I am the truth, the light, and the only way."

I came back from that experience to spend 20 hours in that emergency room. My life would never be the same. Months later, after recovering, I found my way to the Lighthouse Village Church of God where I committed my life to Christ. I'm serving Him and working in the church, sharing with others my testimony. That glimpse of heaven changed my life. I plan to return there as a member of the redeemed!

Baptism in the Holy Spirit - Testimony

I am a analytical type person. Skeptical when it comes to things of faith (unfortunately). I was raised as a catholic (although we rarely attended church). I met my wife about five years ago (in April) and started going to her Pentecostal church. It was uncomfortable at first when they had altar calls (where they did call on us to pray for Jesus’ intervention), because of the strange things that I observed. Mainly the crying and yelling perplexed me (such a deviation from my tranquil and ordered services of Catholic service). And the length! A service would last anywhere from an hour to two and a half hours! We could count on being out of the door on the dot in Catholic church!

Anyway to the point. Yesterday (02-04-01) I was praying (kneeling up front of the church) to Jesus and asking for clarity of thought and the baptism of the Holy Ghost (Spirit) if that is what I needed. I also prayed for understanding of the experience since it weighed heavily on me that I never had felt anything in church or while praying to Jesus. I have felt in the past twinges of guilt or such when making bad decisions but I had always attributed it to my own morality. While praying others prayed with me so that I might understand and be filled with the Holy Ghost (as in Pentecost). At first I felt nothing (as I had in the past 4 years in their church), when all of a sudden I felt an energy entering me, my lips started stammering (sorry for using the bible description but it fits) and I felt this overwhelming wellness which is indescribable (it was better than any high from alcohol any other earthly thing). Then I felt my body moving and my mouth making sounds (don’t know or recall what was coming out of it) that I would never do while in control of myself (as I am reserved in social events). As the experience peaked my body felt heavy and I was without strength, I could not move my arms and I laid there experiencing the most profound event in my life. At that moment the emotions washed over me… I felt happy and remorseful at the same time. Happy to have had the experience (that Jesus actually acknowledged me personally) and sad that I ever doubted in the first place, and I wept (something else that I would never do in public).

Do I still think it is necessary for salvation? I don’t know. I will have to pray about that one. But as for me… It surely didn’t hurt. It turned this doubting Thomas into a full-fledged believer and wouldn’t trade the experience for any amount of money or treasure. It has profoundly changed my outlook on life and I feel that it was necessary for me (the experience) for me to enter into the next level of relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.

I wanted to share this with you, feel free to post it on your website (if you wish), feel free to comment it or debate, or question me. I would be happy to entertain your thoughts on this matter or any other subject in the Bible.
Your fellow servant in Christ,
Mike Jones

A Healing Miracle - Testimony

Mare’s life seemed to detonate overnight when doctors revealed her husband's weekend-long stomach pain was stage IV pancreatic cancer. They gave him a year to live with treatment. But Mare knew God could overcome anything. She believed and prayed with friends and family for his complete healing. After six months of treatment, CT and PET scans showed no tumor. The doctor was amazed, but Mare knows it is the power of her Savior.

Mare's Miracle Story

The faithful love of the Lord never ends. His mercies never cease. He is our hope.

"Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, 'The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!' " (Lamentations 3:23-24, NLT)

The Diagnosis

My world exploded on April 28, 2014 when the doctors said, "It's stage IV pancreatic cancer metastatic to the liver."

My 52-year-old husband had just had a weekend of stomach pain that we attributed to the stomach flu. Then things got worse.

Believing for Healing

The doctors said he had three to six months to live or maybe a year with treatment. It was hard to hear.

I looked at my husband of 14 years and said, "Don’t listen to them. They do not know God."

Immediately the prayer requests started to go out among our family and friends. Many people began to pray for my husband's healing. I prayed believing and trusting from the beginning God would heal him.

God Can Overcome

From a worldly perspective, this cancer is too aggressive to be healed. But from God's perspective, nothing is too aggressive to overtake his will.

He sent his only Son into this world to overcome the darkness. That includes cancer.

"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it." (John 1:5, NLT)

He is our victory. He is our over comer. He is our healer.

"For every child of God defeats this evil world by trusting Christ to give the victory. And the ones who win this battle against the world are the ones who believe that Jesus is the Son of God." (1 John 5:4-5, NLT)

A Medical Miracle

Six months later, after two rounds of chemotherapy, my husband’s CT scan shows no tumor. His PET scan reveals no cancer.

His doctor is stunned. The medical world disbelieves, but we know God has healed him. His mercies are new every morning. For this we give great thanks to our precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Desert Son's Testimony

I was born in Saudi Arabia as a member of a Muslim family. We were a very happy family, and I loved my relationship with them. I also felt very happy because I did all the things that God asked me to. I had learned one sixth of the holy Quran by heart and a lot from the Hadieth. When I was a teenager, I was an Imam for the mosque.

I was always very serious to do all that God ordered me to do -fasting during Ramadan, praying five times a day or more, Hadj and so on. I was, at that time, very desirous to meet God at the last day, even when I had no guarantee. But I had always hoped for this. My hope grew when I started to think about fighting in the name of God (Jihad) in Afghanistan. I was sixteen years old. My parents would not let me go because I was too young. So I decided to wait until I was old enough.

I always had love and respect for the Muslim people. There was no love or respect in my heart for the Christians, and the Jews were my first enemy of course.

Far away from God
After some time, the devil found his way into our home and our life, and my life became very hard. Slowly I drifted far away from God until the time that I believed in no God at all.

My life became busy. I had a very good job and earned a lot of money. Still I was not happy because I was afraid for the day that I would die. Sometimes a question came to my mind -will I be with God in heaven or not? And it was very frightening to think about this, even for seconds, that I would not be there. What about my future?

A little prayer
One day I had a big problem in my life. I was in my room looking through the window up to the sky. Then I remembered God, and I wanted to pray to him to ask him for help, but which God should I pray to. Allah? I was sure that he was very angry with me because I had not prayed for a very long time. Or Jesus? I knew He had done a lot of miracles in the lives of other people. Then I said, “Jesus help me!” I don't know why I spoke like this. I sat down on my bed and spoke to myself, “What is this stupid thing you just did?” Anyway, I did not expect anything to happen or the problem to go away. However, one and a half days later, my problem was solved! I decided to find out who this Jesus is. Is he God as the Christian people say, or is he a prophet, as I know from Islam? At this time, I left my country and went to Europe.

The Dream
On the third day, my circumstances became very difficult for me, and I decided to go back to Middle East. During that night I had a dream. I was standing in a cross shape with a low wall around it. In my right hand, I had a big stack of white unwritten papers. I was standing at the cross beam, and I was looking to a small group of people who were standing at the top. They all wore long white clothing, but one of them was different. He was standing at the right side, and with his left hand He was leading the people through a door in the wall. Beyond the door was light, and I could not see what was in there. One moment I was standing in the dream, and the next moment I was seeing the cross from above. It was difficult for me to understand this.

When I woke up the next morning, I felt a very beautiful happiness in my heart that I never had before. And I felt a love in my heart and from inside my body a very special feeling. I felt also I just wanted to walk and to walk and to ask every one I met, do you know Jesus?

It was more than a great feeling. It was happiness that I had never known before in my life.

After one year of reading the Bible in an honest way, I understand now what happened to me. I found my way to God, the real God, the Lord Jesus Christ. I hope now for all the people I love, my family, my friends, and everyone also to change and begin to read the Bible in an honest way. I am sure that God will help them to find their way.

My life now

I feel love in my heart, and I am very happy to know Jesus. When I was a Muslim, I could never imagine that the Christians were right. After that, I found out how much God loves me, and I became a Christian. Yes, He loves me, He loves you, and He loves the whole world. Jesus Christ loved us, and He still does. And don't forget in the last day nobody can save us, only Jesus Christ.

Dear brother/sister,

Come to know Jesus before it is too late.

John 8:12:  Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, "I am the light of the world; he that follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."

Chinese Woman Went to Heaven and Returned - Testimony

A Chinese woman of Shan Tung Province, North China went to heaven and returned. This experience occurred in connection with the missionary activities of Miss Louisa Vaughan and is related in her book of remarkable miracles, "Answered or Unanswered", pages 42-46, from which we quote:

"In the year of 1904, I held a meeting of several day's duration in the city of Wang Kia Kwan Dswang. My audience consisted of the most "stupid and ignorant" of Chinese women. Some of them were converts, but most of them came to hear the Gospel for the first time. Among these last was a Mrs. Jang, who seemed, if possible, a little more "stupid" than the rest. She was one of our number, not because of any interest she felt in Bible truth, but because her husband, formerly a Confucian scholar, had accepted the Savior and wished her to know something of the fundamental principles of Christianity. Her two little children, who were always with her, consumed much of her time and strength. There were some twenty others in the class to be taught, and I had little chance to give individual attention. The prospect of her learning enough truth to be converted was not encouraging.

"My one method of work, however, was prayer with complete reliance upon the power of God through the Holy Spirit to fulfill His promise in John 14 :13,14: 'And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it'. In the course of these meetings the Father was glorified in the conversion of Mrs. Jang; for after four days of simple instruction she returned to her home a new creature in Christ Jesus.

"About six months later, when I was holding services in a neighboring village, Mrs. Jang appeared again. This time she brought three children and the family dog. (She had given away the chickens.) Again she stayed four days, absorbed as much truth as she could under the trying circumstances, and again returned home.

"Soon after, she contracted tuberculosis and suffered intensely for a year. Her physical pain was only a part of her distress. Her family realized that a great change had taken place in her life, but they would not accept her testimony. They were especially bitter because she unbound her feet. Disregarding such a time-honored custom was a serious disgrace to them. They tortured her in all sorts of little meanness's. She would be refused a drink when she was too ill to get it for herself, and she was frequently told that she was to be buried with her feet bare. A modest Chinese woman has only her face and hands uncovered, even in death.

Visions of Other Parts of the Heavenly City
"In the midst of all her pain and trials Mrs. Jang maintained a bright clear testimony. She grieved only because her dear ones would not receive the message of life that so thrilled and comforted her own soul.

"The dreadful disease had about done its work, when I again found myself in her vicinity. The pastor of the church in which I was speaking came to tell me of her year of suffering.

" 'Miss Vaughan', he said, 'the only prayer she has offered for herself during all these months is that she may see your face again.'

The Body in Death Chamber
"Needless to say I went to her immediately. I was received with a welcome of such apparently boundless affection that I felt I had never before known what love was. A few days passed. It was evident that it was God's will to take Mrs. Jang home, and we who loved her ceased to pray for her recovery. We asked only that God would give her great peace in going, and lift from her heart the burden of grief that it carried because her testimony had not been received by those nearest her.

"I made what I supposed was my last visit to her. 'We will never see our friend on earth again', I said to my class. 'She is very near the heavenly home, and can not possibly live through the night.'

"Early the next morning her father called upon me. 'Your daughter is now at rest and in the Savior's presence,' I said.

"He smiled. 'Oh, no, no!' he said excitedly. 'The Lord has performed a wonderful miracle. She is alive again.

"Then he explained. Mrs. Jang had died at three o'clock the afternoon before, and her family, in accordance with Chinese custom, had immediately prepared her body for burial. At about sunset they heard a noise in the death chamber. They supposed that the children or pigs or chickens (they have equal freedom in the houses of the poor) had gotten into the room. But when they opened the door they could scarcely believe their eyes. Mrs. Jang sat erect on the kang. She had removed her grave clothes and put on those she had been wearing before her death!

"I never taught Revelation in China and nothing had ever been told Mrs. Jang of the glories of Heaven as described in that book. She had instruction for only eight days in her life.

Visions of Other Parts of the Heavenly City
Mrs. Jang Inside the Golden City
"This is her story as she related it to me: 'I remember seeing all the family around me crying. Then the Lord Jesus came into my room and took me by the hand and said, 'Come with me!' In a short time we were before a gate of pearl. It was the gate of Heaven. Angels opened it and we went in. I saw many beautiful houses all of pretty colors. I walked beside the Lord on the golden streets. Miss Vaughan, I was so glad you had told me to unbind my feet; I would have been so ashamed to walk beside my Savior with little feet.

"Then we went on and I saw thousands of angels in a circle, singing and playing lovely music. In the midst was the throne of glory. The Heavenly Father sat upon it, and when I saw Him I was afraid. I hardly dared to lift my eyes'.

" 'You have come', He said.

" 'Yes, Lord.'

" 'You may go back for a while, but you must return to me here on the twelfth of the month'.

Sent Back to Earth
" 'Miss Vaughan, here I am, and now they'll have to accept my testimony, for I have walked on the golden streets and I've seen the Father. They'll have to believe me now.'

"Did her relatives and neighbors believe her?

"People flocked in from miles around to hear the wonderful story. She spoke as an eyewitness and they could not reject her testimony. God's mighty power was upon it, and hundreds were converted. Even today, missionaries in that vicinity find an eager reception for the Gospel message because that is the 'Jesus doctrine' believed by Mrs. Jang who went to heaven and came back again to tell what she saw.

"The days passed until the twelfth of the following month. When that day came the family tried to convince Mrs. Jang that she had reckoned the date incorrectly, but her eager heart was not to be deceived. Late in the afternoon she asked her mother for her grave clothes. Under strong protest they were folded and put on the bed. At sunset while the family were at their evening meal in an adjoining room, she dressed herself quietly in her burial garments then lay down, and her beautiful soul went back to her God".

It can be seen that the testimony of this simple eye witness of heaven's glories is in accord with the word of God, and the present day visions of heaven given his children through the Holy Spirit.

Visions of Other Parts of the Heavenly City
This woman had never heard of the Heavenly City nor its golden street. There is no natural explanation for her accurate description of the New Jerusalem in heaven, its "pearly gate", its "beautiful houses of pretty colors", "the golden street", "thousands of angels singing and playing lovely music", "the throne of glory", and "the King of Glory". There is most simple explanation to the child of the Lord—while Mrs. Jang's body lay a corpse in the death chamber from three o'clock to sunset her spirit was enjoying the bliss of the celestial city, where is "the throne of glory" and "The King of Glory."

The testimony of this ignorant Chinese woman, as believed by her friends and community, is the testimony to be believed by all of the children of men, that there is a golden city in the heaven far above the stars, the city eternal where "thousands of angels sing and play music" around the throne of God and where the King walks the golden streets with his humblest child amidst the glories of the city of glory, the crown of the universe, the pyramidal capstone of all God's creation.

This is the abiding city, the golden city that is eternal, the city whose builder and Maker is God, the heavenly Jerusalem that is now the home of the redeemed in the third heaven and will some day be the glory center of the New Earth when God makes all things new.
