The Lord is My Shepherd - Testimony

Dr. Annamma Abraham

1The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. 2He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside quiet waters. 3He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. (Psalm 23)

1 I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; from whence shall my help come? 2 My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. (Psalm 121)

From childhood these Psalms have given me much confidence, courage and consolation.

I witnessed Christ when I was six years old.  I am the daughter of a priest and I grew up in a surrounding where there was Sunday school, church, and Christian conventions.

I had a deep desire to live for Christ from childhood days.

When I was seven my dream was to become a doctor. My determination led me to work very hard which eventually got me a place into medical school. God fulfilled the desires of my heart and I graduated as a doctor.

I worked in mission hospitals at various stages in my life and it was a great blessing to be there.  I have three sons who are also in the same profession and more importantly they are believers too.

We had many hurdles in life; some “came to pass” and for some God gave me the grace to live with it.  Perseverance and God’s grace, protection and guidance helped us to overcome these.

My husband passed away in 2013 but God never left me alone.  He has and is always with me.

In the latter years He gave me a deep desire to write on various topics based biblical principles. Many have gone out through emails, appeared on several websites and blogs. They have also been given as hard copies to people in my fellowship, my friends and relatives. Many have found this a blessing in their Christian walk. I am very grateful that even these years I can still be an instrument in His hands.

Dr. Annamma Abraham

Dr. Annamma Abraham and (late) Dr. Abraham were veteran doctors in Malaysia (originally from Kerala, India) and also serving the Lord in many capacities.  Those early years were very busy with their working schedule and taking care of their very energetic and lively three sons.  In that very busy schedule of work along with parenthood, they grew stronger in their faith and walk with God.  Today, as Dr. Annamma Abraham delves into the Word in deep study, she shares jewels of wisdom from the Word!
