Many Did Not Understand
They lived in a land
With no borders
With no borders
And at times
Things got out of order
Things got out of order
He tried to build their
walls
As each country has
Borders towering tall
But they hooted at him
With angry calls
Ignorant they were
Close to a fall
They did not like him
Because their
spiritual
Insight was dim
He understood history
So he tried to keep out
The raging kind of refugee
The raging kind of refugee
Because he knew
Where it would lead
Where it would lead
Someday, citizens may bleed
As each day is getting
More dark and
sinister
So immigration laws
Are being made tighter
Many called him a man
Without a heart
Without a heart
Some did not think
He was too smart
He was too smart
They rebelled
Hoping he would depart
Hoping he would depart
But he loved his people
And wanted their best
He fought on, labored
And hardly did rest
He made deals
To create new jobs
To create new jobs
For the masses
And the angry mobs
And the angry mobs
Working to make them
wealthy
With fresh schemes
To keep them healthy
To keep them healthy
Main media fabricated
Misrepresented him
They just did not want
him to win
They created panic in
the land
So things would get out
of hand
They painted him
As a mythic monster
To incite violent
mobsters
They did not
understand
His big heart of gold
Encased in a rough
diamond
And a spirit bold
Many did not know
He is God's
Very own chosen man
Who would help the
country stand
Protect them from the
enemies
Of foreign lands
May they wake up
To know this truth soon
Before the country lies
in ruins
Wake up! Wake Up!
Then you will rise again
On eagles wings
Your land in unity will sing
When God heals
Your wounds and pain
Pouring love and revival
From cities, mountains
Valleys, rivers to plains!
