Piercing The Darkness - Poem

We live in a world where revenge and hatred grows

Some have much, others less, but love is fading and few

Anger, rage, revenge and murder nurtures within

Some feel they are better and out to win

Hatred rules to turn hearts stone hard
Keeping people afraid and on guard

As swirling dark mists shrouds souls

Only Light can overcome the darkness in the world

Only God's Light can pierce the darkness of the world!

We cannot do it on our own, in us, there is nothing good

Only God can bring transformation in the miraculous way only He could

As we turn to Him, He will pierce the darkness to pour in His light

God's Light shatters the darkness of hatred and evil with overpowering might!

As we pray, we will see miracles where the darkness is overcome by Light

Because darkness is always displaced by Light!
