As the sun rises faithfully to birth a new day

Let's leave the past memories that hold us behind

Trusting God for new blessings to shine

Let the freshness of this day bring healing to our souls

Let the sparkling silver new rain wash and make whole

Let's leave behind rash words and hastiness

Let peace and love build and bring great oneness

With blessing to shine on this new day
